Master's Degree Programs
You can join the first cohort of the Masters in Public Health (M.P.H.) Degree students to ever be offered on Native American Indian Sovereign Land in the USA, which started in May 2014. Or enroll in the first ever Masters in Bioethics and Global Public Health (M.B.G.P.H.) Degree in the world, which also started in May 2014. AUSN has 29 graduates from both degree programs already, and a list of thesis topics of graduates is available here. [A pdf file with the complete syllabus of all topics of every course for the MBGPH is available]
Every graduate of AUSN is employed (as of December 2015)! If you start your full time Masters degree studies with AUSN you could graduate with an internationally recognized Masters degree within one year – get ahead of the job market! We welcome students of all ages, gender, ethnicities, abilities, gifts and backgrounds! Our faculty are global thought leaders who have joined this unique endeavor, from around the world! Half of the Masters graduates to date have decided to enrol in their PhD degree from AUSN, and are joined by others with Masters degrees or PhDs from other universities around the world.
The Masters of Science in Sustainability degree was licensed on 28 January 2016!
Students can take the Masters degrees as either fully or partial onsite residential programs, or as combination hybrid online and on-site master’s degree programs. If you can be onsite 2-3 days a week for one year then you can enjoy all the advantages of the residential program with more faculty-student contact time! Students in the residential program must have valid immigration status to be in the USA (AUSN does not yet offer assistance for student visas). However, if you cannot be at AUSN for a whole year you can enroll in the combination hybrid online and onsite programs.
In the combination program, we ask all enrolled students to join at least three 3-day on-site intensive training programs during their studies (which will make up some of the required credit hours for the degrees)…and we also offer some of these intensive training programs at overseas venues as well. We will provide specific details of the courses for online and onsite to students who apply and are accepted. Onsite intensive trainings have occurred in AUSN, Arizona, USA; UNSOED, Purwokerto, Indonesia; Bangkok, Thailand; Dhaka, Bangladesh; APU Beppu; Kumamoto, Japan; Monterrey, Mexico; Kathmandu, Nepal; Manila, the Philippines. The specific schedule for the intensive programmes is available from the firstname.lastname@example.org and some are listed in the Conferences page. We will offer more dates and places, based on student demand, both in AUSN and in some of the many Institutions that AUSN has formal Collaboration Agreements with all around the world.
