Dr. Shahanaz Chowdhury (Bangladesh), MBBS, MPH (RCH), MBGPH (2015)
Shahanaz Chowdhury, currently working as Assistant Professor & Head Dept. of Community Medicine & Program Coordinator MPH in Community Medicine, Faculty of Public Health at Bangladesh University of Health Sciences (BUHS). She has completed MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College under Dhaka University in 1996 and MPH in Reproductive and Child Health in 2003 under National Institute of Preventive and Social Sciences (NIPSOM). She has acquired extensive theoretical and practical knowledge on basics of public health issues and public health oriented subjects which helped her to be confident with a strong foundation on research work in the field of public health. From the very beginning of her career, she was highly motivated on research work with a view to contribute to the improvement of existing health service system. Among those researches, eight have been accepted for oral presentation and four have accepted for poster presentation both nationally and internationally. Now she has completed the MBGPH course at American University of Sovereign Nations (AUSN) and so the ethical knowledge and skills in public health issues will enable her to be known as an expert on Bioethics and Global Public Health arena. AUSN has given her the opportunity to fulfill her dream nationally and internationally.
Dr. Shahana Dastagir (Bangladesh) BDS, M.Phil., MBGPH (2015)
I have completed my bachelor in Dental Surgery [BDS] from Bangladesh and by profession I am a Dental Surgeon. I obtained the degree of Master of Philosophy in Preventive and Social Medicine (M.Phil.- Medical) from National Institute of Preventive and Social Medicine (NIPSOM) under University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. In 2013 I successfully completed a post graduate course on new concept in Dental Education and Global Public Health from the department of Global Oral Health, College of Dental Science, University and Medical Centre St Radboud, The Netherlands with full scholarship.
I attended a course in Bioethics from October 2014 - December 2014, conducted by NIH CC Department of Bioethics, USA. From November 03, 2015 to November 08, 2015, I attended the Sixteenth Asian Bioethics Conference the the Philippines, where I graduated with a MBGPH [Master’s program on Bioethics and Global Public Health] by American University of Sovereign Nation with the international scholarship from AUSN and Bangladesh Bioethics Society. From there I got an opportunity to acquire an abundant amount of knowledge regarding Bioethics and Global Public Health and it was an immense opportunity on my part to meet scholars from different part of the world.
Currently I am working as an Associate Professor and Head, Department of Dental Public Health in City Dental College, Dhaka, Bangladesh. I am on the Editorial Board as one of the Associate Editors for publishing a professional Dental and Medical Journal, published from City Dental College, Dhaka. My research interest focuses on Dental public health, Preventive Dentistry and Bioethics.
In 2015 I have been elected the Vice President of Bangladesh Dental Society, the apex professional body of the dental surgeons of Bangladesh. Presently I am also working as an Organizing Secretary of Oral Pathology and Periodontology Association of Bangladesh. I am a life member of Bangladesh Bioethics Association. I served as the Announcer of the SAARC [South Asian Region Conference] Dental Association Federation in 1995. I was awarded as the ‘Best Master of the Ceremony’ of the 1st International Dental Conference in Bangladesh in 2001.

Md. Jobair Alam (Bangladesh) LL.M., LL.B. (Hons’), MBGPH (2015)
Md. Jobair Alam is an Assistant Professor of Law, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and currently he is pursuing his Ph.D. at the Macquarie University Law School, Sydney, Australia. Before starting his academic career he has completed his LL.M. and LL.B. (Hons’) in 2010 and 2009 respectively from the Department of Law, University of Dhaka and he has the distinction of being first in both of the examinations. In recognition of these outstanding academic achievements he has been awarded with prestigious gold medals from the Prime Minister, the President and the Chief Justice of Bangladesh. In 2015 Mr. Alam has also completed his Master in Bioethics and Global Public Health (MBGPH) from the American University of Sovereign Nations (AUSN), Arizona, USA where he did his major thesis work on “A Critical Assessment of the Ethical Approaches to Environmental Legislation in Bangladesh with an Emphasis on Biodiversity”. He received a promotion upon completion of his MBGPH degree. Several of his research articles have been published in peer reviewed national and international journals. He has also attended seminars both home and abroad including India, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia and Australia. His area of interest is International law of Refugee, Migrants and Stateless, International Human Rights Law, Poverty and Development.
Ananya Tritipthumrongchok, M.S., CCP (2014), MBGPH (2015)

Ananya is General Manager of Eubios Ethics Institute and of the International Peace and Development Ethics Centre, Kaeng Krachan, Thailand. She is a Thai citizen and graduated from both the CCP and Masters in Bioethics and Global Public Health (MBGPH) Programmes of American University of Sovereign Nations (AUSN), United States of America. She is a AUSN Senior Research Fellow.
Ananya's Masters thesis was on “Fortune Telling as Mental Health Support”. She previously had a M.S. Population and Development from the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), Thailand, and a B.A. in Personal Management from Rajabhat Suan Sunanta University in Thailand. She was among the first batch of AUSN graduates, completing the Postgraduate Certificate in Community and Peace (CCP).
Professionally she worked for 10 years in HRM in AIS telecommunications and 6 years for Acer Computers, and is Assistant to the Managing Director of Essilor Distribution (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. Ananya has been researching various issues of bioethics from a cross-cultural perspective. Ananya is also assisting in the Youth Peace Ambassadors International programme for several years. For AUSN Ananya is researching concepts of fortune telling, happiness, decision-making and also helping in the international relations and development of online delivery programs for degree programs.
Sol Erwin G. Diaz (the Philippines) BA, B.Law, MA, Ph.D., CCP (2015)

Sol Erwin G. Diaz is a one of the pioneer graduates of the American University of Sovereign Nation’s (AUSN) Post Graduate Certificate in Community and Peace. He is currently enrolled in the AUSN Master of Bioethics and Global Public Health. He is now the encumbent Secretary of the AUSN Alumni Association. He is from the Philippines and he came to know AUSN when he attended the 9th Youth Peace Ambassador (YPA) Training Workshop held in AUSN, Scottsdale, Arizona last August 2014. He also participated in the 10th YPA held in Purwokerto, Indonesia and received his award being a Youth Peace Ambassador.
He is a teacher and is also currently working as a Legislator of one of the Barangay in Iligan City, Philippines. He was so grateful of the combination program of the AUSN (online/onsite study program) as he was able to finish according to his learning pace the concepts, theories, and practices of PEACE and BIOETHICS. He is also thankful and proud that he achieved his ambition to graduate from one of the prestigious schools in the United States of America - the American University of Sovereign Nations.
Muhammad Ziaul Huq (Bangladesh)
Ziaul is the Chairman of Thirdeye Communication Ltd. He is writing his thesis and a current student of the AUSN MBGPH program. In 2014 he completed his Postgraduate Certificate on Community and Peace (CCP) from AUSN, He is a life member of Asian Bioethics Association (ABA). He had completed his BFA and MFA degree from the University of Dhaka on Fine Art. He is also a Visual Artist. He is the life member of Bangladesh Charu Shilpi Shangshad and Organizing Secretary of Bangabandhu Shishu Kishor Mela. Founder member of Alor Michil education for under privileged children.
He involved in many socio-cultural organizations, an organizer and activist of programs like Phohela Boishakh (Bengali New Year), February (International Mother Language Day), Working for flood affected people, SIDRE affected people, Drop out people, Media Dark area people for education. Within the study he was involved in political and cultural organizations. By this time he had participated in many Solo and Group Art Exhibition like Young, National, Asian Biennale, Berger, Fine Art Faculty Annual, Bangabandhu art exhibition etc. He also participated many International Conference & Workshop on Art, Culture, Leadership, social, Environments and peace movements in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Sweden, Germany, Norway, Denmark, UK, USA and many others country around the world. He is very interested to do work for under-privileged people around the world.
